Web - Lock a Time Period


Rhumbix allows you to lock a time period to prevent existing time cards from being edited and new time cards from being created. Any Admin or Payroll Admin has this functionality.

To lock a time period, go to Company Administration, select Locked Time Period, if not already clicked, click the Allow locked time periods checkbox, select your lock date, changes are automatically saved. To move the date from week to week, go back to the page and click on your new lock date.

Within a locked time period, users with the pm, foreman and office staff roles are not able to edit existing time cards or submit new time cards. Users with the payroll admin and admin roles can edit existing time cards and submit new time but will see a lock sign reminding them the time period if locked.
